General Information

Acknowledgements: All orders are promptly acknowledged by fax. Please read the acknowledgment carefully and contact us immediately with any discrepancies or changes.

Terms: Net 30 days with approved credit. Visa, Mastercard, and American Express accepted. To avoid delay in processing new customer orders, a 50% deposit along with credit references will be required prior to placing your order into production. The merchandise will be shipped to you C.O.D. for the balance unless credit is approved. Interest on past due accounts will be charge at the rate of 1 ½% per month.

Artwork: Digital art sent on computer disk or by e-mail is preferred. We currently support the following computer formats: Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop is preferred for Photocrest and Offset pins as well as FotoEmblems. Vector-based art files (not scanned or bitmap images such as jpeg or tiff) are preferred and required for some jewelry production processes as well as chairs, umbrellas and bags. Please convert all text to outlines, curves or paths before sending the artwork. Please also fax a copy of the artwork with your order. Also acceptable are drawings, actual products or black and white art. For camera-ready art, submissions at 300-400% are preferred for pin orders and at size for embroidery orders. Artwork can be cleaned up and/or created from your sketch or components at a charge of $50.00(V) per hour. Exact charges quoted upon review of the project.

Storage of Artwork: We will typically keep electronic artwork on file for 24 months. Upon request, we will return files that may include changes made to produce your order. There may be additional artwork charges for proprietary work performed to produce imprinted products with your submitted artwork.

Orders: Must be in writing, and can be faxed. Phone orders are not accepted. We will not be responsible for errors on handwritten orders.

Corrections/Cancellations: Any correction or cancellation of an order in process will be subject to costs incurred to date.

Shipping: F.O.B. our facility in New Jersey unless otherwise specified in catalog. If no specific method of shipment is requested, we will use our judgment regarding the selection of a carrier. Generally, we use the most economical service available.

Co-op Programs: On bonafide co-op programs, special pricing is available.

Country of Origin: All items are marked with the country of origin.

Pricing: All prices are subject to change without prior notification.

Special Packaging: Gift boxes, mailers and custom packaging are available for all products shown in our catalog. Please call for additional items or prices.

Trademarks: Avaline assumes that our clients are authorized to use trademarks presented to us for reproduction. We assume no liability in trademark or copyright disputes. Should we determine the product may require a license to merchandise, we will require a copy of our authorization. Logos used in this catalog are not intended to represent or endorse the product, they are examples of logos we have done in the past and are representative of the quality and type of work Avaline does. We reserve the right to use all products in our advertising and displays unless otherwise notified in writing at the time of the order. All prices, specifications and terms of sale in this catalog are subject to change without prior notice. All orders are subject to approval by Avaline and are not binding until accepted by us. Assorted Jewelry Attachments: Quantity pricing will prevail when the same emblem is used in conjunction with an assortment of attachments. There is a $7.00 charge per attachment change within the order. Minimum quantity is 50 pieces per attachment.

Back Stamping: We can die strike your company name or logo on the back of most jewelry items. Contact factory for cost.

Die and Tooling Charges: There is a one time charge for dies and tools. These items remain in our possession for up to three years. Each design is for your exclusive use and we will not use it for another account. Repeat orders may incur setup charges.

Designs: Prices in this catalog are quoted on average designs. Complex designs will be quoted on an individual basis.

Jewelry Overruns: We make every effort to ship exact quantities. However, since all items are custom manufactured, all orders are subject to a 10% overrun or underrun and will be filled accordingly.

Precious Metals: We offer items in precious and semi precious metals. Please see page 4. Due to fluctuations in market prices, catalog prices apply only to the size and quantity described based on the market price shown in the catalog. We will be happy to provide a custom quote on any size or quantity based on the current market price of either gold or silver.

Jewelry Proofs/Spec Samples: A preproduction proof or spec sample is available for $30.00 (V) in addition to the die or set-up charge. This cost will be rebated on orders of 1000 pieces or more.

Pricing: The lower quantity rate will prevail between quantities shown in the catalog. Special quotations will be given for orders: exceeding the maximum quantity; exceeding the largest listed size; items not shown in the catalog.

Jewelry Re-orders: There are no die charges on identical reorders of items produced within three years. Some reorders may incur a setup charge. To insure an exact duplication, please furnish us with the Avaline item number, and most current invoice number and date. Any copy changes will require new art and die charges.

Minimum Quantities: Quotations on less than minimum quantities (if available) will be given on request.

PMS colors: Exact color matching is not always possible. Please specify imprint color on your orders. You MUST choose your PMS color and designate if it is selected from the U (uncoated paper) or C (coated paper) section in the Pantone book. Color match charge is $25.00 (V)

Outdoor Sample Orders: Sample charged at end column price, plus shipping charges. Spec Samples are $35.00 (V) plus the cost of the item and applicable setup charges which includes a one color, one location imprint. Any item priced over $50.00 on first column pricing will have a Spec sample charge of $50.00 (V) plus cost of item and applicable setup charges which includes a one color, one location imprint.

Additional imprint colors add $60.00 (V) per color to the cost of the spec sample. Allow 2 weeks for delivery.

Split destination shipments: First location free of charge. Additional locations: $12.50 (V) each. Fulfillment programs accommodated on a individual basis. Call for details.

Minimum Quantities: A less than minimum charge will be applied of $50.00 (P) on smaller quantities. On items over $40.00 (R) value, less than minimum charge is $100.00 (P).
