ADD SOME WOW TO TRAINING OR SALES MEETINGS

TAG THEM
This worked so well for us we thought we’d share it with you. Our idea was to target show attendees with a pre-show mailing,asking them to drop by the Avaline booth. But we didn’t want to just ask you to drop by the booth, we really wanted a chance to get to see and talk with distributors.
The problem was getting our direct mail piece noticed. After all, how many pieces of mail do you receive from suppliers asking the same thing? We needed it to “pop” in the mail. We accomplished this by using a bright PVC dog tag embedded in a clam shell pack and a very colorful, attention getting card. It wasn’t simply a postcard, it had depth and the product gave you reason to look further. Then by combining the direct mail piece with an in-booth contest, we achieved the second half of our objective: to get you to the booth. Each dog tag had a serial number imprinted on the back. The card asked the recipients to bring the card/dog tag to our booth and match it to a number that had been picked prior to the show. The matching number wins!
Avaline mailed 5300 of the postcards prior to the show (it only cost $0.39 each to mail). We had a redemption rate of close to 30%... that's 1500 people!! Old friends and new distributors were among those who redeemed their card. It gave us a chance to show those familiar with Avaline “what’s new” and educate our new friends about Avaline, and at the same time have some fun! It was a good promotion because it reached the market before the show and was able to entice recipients to the booth. Are any of your clients looking for a good tradeshow promotion? STEPPIN' OUT

This is a great tradeshow promotion, a terrific way to build traffic on your client’s website, and keep their company top of mind, even after their event is over. Start off by building a tradeshow contest around the hottest selling item in the last decade, the iPod®, and use these protective silicone cases as a great “tie-in” giveaway.
