VETERAN’S DAY – NOVEMBER 11TH

Once called Armistice Day, November 11^th, the anniversary of the end of World War I at 11:00 a.m., November 11^th, 1918 (the 11^th hour of the 11^th day of the 11th month), officially became a holiday in the United States in 1926.  In 1954, the name was changed to Veterans Day to honor all U.S. veterans.  Today, observances at the town, state and national level - parades, ceremonies, public services both religious and secular, are held every year on November 11^th to honor those who served their country.  Whether it’s a fundraiser, token of appreciation, or a souvenir of a ceremony, Avaline’s stock patriotic pins, bracelets and declaration rings make a perfect memento.

A BOBBLING VICTORY – Case history

A client was looking for a pin or button to give away as she campaigned for her Vice Chair position at a 4 day conference.  At first the prospect of having herself immortalized as a bobble head pin was daunting, however after a little convincing the candidate decided it was worth a try.
